ADVERTISING: I’ve worked with the top 10 agencies, on television commercials development, and producing exciting brand films.

CORPORATE VIDEO: Have produced brand films for hundreds of global brands – including the giants of fashion, sport, technology, banking, and petrochemicals.

FILM: Submitted a film to the Cannes Short Film Corner, and also written a feature movie with the writer and associate producer of a number of Guy Ritchie movies.

My background

Having studied music, art, drama, screenwriting & film directing – I consider myself an artist at heart.

Starting my career in London’s prestigious Molinare, I went onto work for Endemol. These early experiences exposed me to the intensity of live television, the creativeness that goes into producing promos, and the attention to detail required in producing successful TV dramas.

I attended the National Film and Television school, and the BBC Academy, then went on to shadow English TV drama directors.

I have gone on to write, direct, produce, and post produce for all of the major UK channels; BBC, ITV, C4, C5, MTV, SKY 1, and Discovery.

Working with all of the major advertising agencies including; Saatchi and Saatchi, AMV, Publicis, BBDO, Mother, WCRS, BBH, Grey, M & C Saatchi and AKQA – I have been at the heart of creating new visual approaches within the media industry.

In spite of my achievements so far, I feel very lucky to be working in an industry, and in roles – that I have real passion for – story telling within the visual medium. I love the uniqueness that each new production holds, and enjoy the many challenges, appreciating the collaboration, and friendships made in constantly pioneering new ground.

In my spare time I like to travel, snowboard, kite surf, and play the guitar.

Beginning a production

Every production has to start somewhere – often I create the concept, alternatively the production company, or lastly the client’s creatives have thought up an earth shaking idea!

The next step, the initial idea needs exposure and discussion, so that the concept can be formed and translated into a script, a storyboard or shooting script – which will then form the basis of the video production.
